The stream is over and we got some exting stuff that got revealed. We saw the Warlock Quest which is all about Discard. Hunter’s and Rogue’s Legendary minions were shown off and man – great mechanics! The craziest card by far, while likely not competitive, is a new Warrior Epic spell that replaces your ENTIRE deck with “Discover a card” cards!!! Anyway, without further ado, here are the cards: John “kickedtripod” Horstman made some nice GIFs of Elise, Sherazim, and and KingDred gameplay for you to enjoy: Here is a full gif of Elise the Trailblazer’s interaction. #UnGoro #Hearthstone pic.twitter.com/1YikG1q2MD — John Horstmann (@kickedtripod) March 17, 2017 A full gif of the Sherazin interaction. Yesterday, Ben Brode and Mike Donais participated in the second-ever developer live Q&A. The VOD is available on the official Hearthstone Youtube channel here, but it is over an hour long and oddly quiet. Here is a summary for those who missed the live stream, don’t want to watch the full VOD, and/or couldn’t hear a thing: Generally speaking, the Q&A covered the following topics: Hall of Fame, Future Expansions (and “Missions”), Standard versus Wild, the ladder format, and miscellaneous other topics. Arena was covered in a separate blog post the day after the Q&A, and will be summarized separately. HALL OF FAME The cards that were selected into the Hall of Fame were used very frequently and limited potential design space. More cards were considered (namely, Gadgetzan Auctioneer) and the Hall of Fame will be revisited as needed. Problem cards from the evergreen sets are more likely to be sent

Hello everyone, we have to catch up on news a bit and we will start off with the announcement of the Developer Insights Q&A stream that will happen January 13 at 9:00am PST on Twitch. I think this was necessary after all the “new player experience” discussion and the Reddit rant following the announcement that there will be more cards from the Classic/Basic set rotating with the next released expansion/adventure this spring. If you have not followed the events, there is a nice summary in this article. The announcement can be found directly below. It’s getting hot in here – and outside as well! Blizzard announced to leave their grounds and they will hold the HCT Winter Championship of this year’s HCT on the Bahamas! Read all the details in the blue post below!

November 28th is the day where we will most likely see all the remaining cards revealed of the upcoming Hearthstone set “Mean Streets of Gadgetzan” (MSG). Senior Designer Matt Place and Dan “Frodan” Chou will play some “family-versus-family” matches on November 28 at 10 a.m PDT (7 p.m. CET) on the official Hearthstone Twitch channel. Also, don’t forget to visit and bookmark the Mean Streets of Gadgetzan Spoiler Card List as well as the Mean Streets of Gadgetzan Power Rankings which will be updated shortly after the stream. Btw., here are the newset cards from the last two days:

BlizzCon is right around the corner and everybody is anticipating this year’s esports events surrounding it. For me, the Hearthstone Championship Tour (HCT) will be the pinnacle of competitive Hearthstone this year. Nevertheless, there is a lot more to see than the Hearthstone World Championship. Either Heroes of the Storm, World of Warcraft PvP, Overwatch or Starcraft II, there is a lot going on.  All BlizzCon details can be found here. A detailed opening week schedule is outlined here, the BlizzCon schedule and map is available through this link. We all agree that watching the events live is the best way but only a few of us are lucky enough to be able to do that. For all others, the BlizzCon Mobile App is there to help you find all events in the case you own the virtual ticket. Most events will also be streamed via twitch in a multitude of languages (see

Priest is not top tier, that’s common knowledge at the moment. Anduin and Tyrande suffer from being too reactive rather than proactive. Nevertheless, Priest is one of the most interesting class mechanic-wise (tinkers around with the opponent’s cards). Rogue, the other class taht uses a similar mechanic, is very heavy on the RNG side of stealing opponent’s card whereas Priest interacts a lot more directly with the opponent’s deck. Therefore it is skill intensive, but yet more reliable than the burgle mechanic. I enjoy playing Priest despite it being rated low tier. Maybe you will appreciate that too by watching some “Hearthstone Priest Extravaganza”! Continue with the full official blog post below.

After her announcement on September 15th, Tyrande Whisperwind, the alternate priest hero we all desperately awaited, is finally available. You can get her by testing out the recently announced Twitch Prime, which you can test one month for free. Even better, if you are already a amazon prime client, it is free. For anybody who wants to know how the free channel subscription works that comes with TwitchPrime, please follow the link. Maybe try it by supporting one of our BlizzPro channels!
