Sponsors – GamersGearEU  |  Twitter – @Fade2Karma | Facebook – Fade2Karma | www.Fade2Karma.com Written by @F2K_Chalk Every week the pros from team Fade2Karma break down the “Deck of the Week.” These decks are seeing a lot of play either in constructed ladder or tournaments. Team F2K explain the deck lists and how to play them. View past Deck Lists of the Week. Why Mid Pal? A few weeks ago every Pal we were seeing was the secret variant, but over the last few weeks Midrange Pal has started to emerge as a top ladder deck, with good match-ups vs many of the most played ladder decks and some especially hard counts like aggro druid and control warrior. Paladin also gained Keeper of Uldaman in the last wing of the expansion a flexible card that can act as either removal for a threat or like a hound-master on your recruits giving you tempo when dropped

Deck of the Week: Aggro Paladin

by JR Cook on

The meta has been getting stale with Grim Patron Warrior, Handlock (or Malygos Warlock), and Hybrid Hunter leading the charge on the ladder. With slower decks leading the meta, it’s time for aggro to start making a bit of a comeback and Aggro Paladin is starting to see some success. Now Paladin isn’t really the best deck for aggro so don’t be surprised if you get some success with this deck for a week and then have it fall in favor to something better – but why not play something different? This particular deck was created by JayMarsh96 and was show off on the CompetitiveHS subreddit. He was able to reach rank 1 with this deck. Deck List Aggro Paladin Class: Paladin Paladin (16) Blessing of Might Argent Protector Shielded Minibot x2 Coghammer Divine Favor x2 Muster for Battle x2 Truesilver Champion x2 Blessing of Kings x2 Consecration x2 Hammer

Deck of the Week: Savjz Eboladin

by JR Cook on

Is aggro more of your style of play than control? Getting sick of Face Hunter or Warlock Zoo and want a little bit of a different taste? Well, Savjz’s Eboladin might be the deck for you. This deck is centered around Hobgoblin and turning your lowly 1 attack creatures in 3 attack creatures. The deck is also built to get you a ton of card draw, especially if you’re playing against control decks by using Divine Favor and Jeeves. If you have the right card draw you can easily play your hand out with some strong creatures and quickly replenish for the next turn. Here is the full deck list: Eboladin Class: Paladin Paladin (8) Blessing of Might x2 Coghammer x2 Divine Favor x2 Truesilver Champion x2 Neutral (22) Wisp x2 Abusive Sergeant x2 Argent Squire x2 Leper Gnome x2 Annoy-o-Tron x2 Echoing Ooze x2 Haunted Creeper x2 Ironbeak Owl Knife

This week’s Deck of the Week we bring you another deck list that has hit #1 Legend in the last week. This time it’s Trump’s paladin deck that he was able to raise to the top. I’ve been playing this deck for the last few days, and while it’s definitely fun it does have some challenges. If you’re playing lower ranks there are some cards you will probably want to substitute out as Trump’s version has some tech cards meant for the meta at higher levels of play. The deck also has a lot of legendary cards that can be easily substituted out. The style of the deck is very much controlling in nature while putting pressure on the board. If by turn 8 you are able to pop off a Muster for Battle with a Quartermaster you can nearly pull off a win right there. However, if you play

The Anti Undertaker Hunter Deck

by Twizz on

Twizz runs a weekly show called Hearthstone Powerhour where he and Studder (a highly ranked legendary player) go through a deck each week and show you how to play it on the ladder. Make sure you check out his show here. Turn 1 Undertaker, Coin, Leper Gnome….or Webspinner…or some other cheap agitation that’s going to end your game around turn 5 if not sooner.  The “Undertaker Hunter” is everywhere.  It’s in every tournament deck, it’s all over the ladder, everywhere!  The reason is because the Undertaker gets out of hand exceptionally fast and there are so many low cost minions to buff it that you don’t stand a chance at winning if you can’t do anything about their early game. Today I’ve brought to you a hard counter to this deck.  This might be more of a tournament style deck when you know your opponent might be playing Hunter.  There has also

Quartermaster Pally Deck

by Twizz on

Episode 41:  Quartermaster Pally Mustard for Battle! You’ll see what that means soon enough. This week we take out the Pally that is pretty effective against control and aggro! We break down the deck, make a small change mid way through and let the Knife Juggler polish our last opponent off. Deck List Quartermaster Pally Class: Paladin Paladin (17) Blessing of Wisdom Equality x2 Shielded Minibot x2 Muster for Battle x2 Aldor Peacekeeper x2 Truesilver Champion x2 Consecration x2 Quartermaster x2 Lay on Hands Tirion Fordring Neutral (13) Zombie Chow x2 Acidic Swamp Ooze Ironbeak Owl Knife Juggler x2 Defender of Argus x2 Loatheb Sylvanas Windrunner The Black Knight Dr. Boom Sea Giant

The Light was strong in the final round of the Hearthstone Goblins vs. Gnome vote reveal and  Bolvar Fordragon edged Mal’ganis quite comfortably in this last round of voting. The Title Quote is quite fitting, and it comes from Bolvar himself as he asks Tirion Fording to place the Helm of Domination over his head and make him the new Lich King. If you ever cleared ICC in World of Warcraft you probably remember the exchange… Tirion: “You will not be forgotten, brother.” Bolvar: “ I must be forgotten, Tirion! If the world is to live free from the tyranny of fear, they must never know what was done here today!” But that’s all WoW, what will happen in Hearthstone? Personally,  while this card of course has a lot of potential to end up being nasty. I don’t think it’s going to be reliable enough. Sure if Bolvar starts in

Hexar Pally Deck

by JR Cook on

Episode 34: Hexar Pally Deck This week we picked up a guest host on the fly! He goes by the name Hexar and has been very involved with the Hearthstone scene since the beginning. We created a Pally deck on the fly and never got to really stretch its legs as we only played Mages and Pallys for 5 games straight. We hope you enjoy!
