WELL MET, friends! As you may or may not have heard, we were forced to cancel Episode 49 due to some real-life things that got in the way of us putting on our best show. Having said that, we did want to update you all on some exciting news going on with the show! First, we’ve hit our $400 Patreon goal, which means we’ll be recording an extra episode every month (beginning in March)! We’ve intentionally kept the purpose of these extra episodes flexible, so we can focus on things our listeners want to hear. One month, that could be an episode purely for call-ins and listener questions; the next month, it could be a coaching episode where we pilot a deck on stream and talk through plays. The sky is the limit! We really want to thank each and every one of our listeners for continuing to support us as we grew this past year.

WELL MET!! Join John, J.R., and Kevin every week and listen in as they discuss strategy, competitive play, card & deck analysis, and more! This podcast is produced to help players up their game in Hearthstone, keep up with the tournament scene, and have some fun along the way. We record live every Sunday evening and release our audio podcast the following Monday! We’re talking all about cool upcoming stuff this week, starting with the Hearthstone event teased for March 9th. Everyone has their own theories on what it might be! Next, it’s all things Winter Preliminaries. The European Preliminaries ran this weekend, and had some surprising results – and we’re all very excited to see Kevin on the desk next week during the Americas Preliminaries! Last up is the meta. TempoStorm has decided to delay their reports to mess with John in particular, so we’re looking at the Hearthhead Midweek

We record live every Sunday evening and release our audio podcast the following Monday! This week we recorded a day late as Kevin had a last minute change of plans, so in his place we brought back THE Tannon Grace. This week we talked about all of the new changes coming to Hearthstone regarding the new Wild and Standard formats, our thoughts on it, and what we think this will do to change the game. We also discussed Firebat leaving Team Archon, the results of the Redbull Team Brawl, and we talked about the Team Celestial meta report and what we think

We record live every Sunday evening and release our audio podcast the following Monday! Episode 46 saw some very cool competitive scene stuff going down, but not before we talked about our own Hearthstone experiences in January! Kevin hit Legend using a Zoo Warlock list, while John fell just shy at Rank 1. JR had to miss out on his tournament, but talked through his deck selection strategy for a Conquest (bring four, ban one) tournament setting! In Hearthstone esports this week, we’re excited for some fresh ideas hitting the scene – namely: The Red Bull Hearthstone Team Brawl Team Archon’s Curse

It was a pretty special week for Well Met – our very own Kevin ‘Odinn’ Hovdestad has been selected in Blizzard’s So You Think You Can Cast: Hearthstone Edition, and will be casting the Winter Preliminaries alongside Frodan, Brian Kibler, Rob Wing, Savjz, and Azumo! Congratulations are also in order for DTwo, Sottle, Aquablad, Songbird, and Raven. The rest of this week’s show was dedicated to the pro scene. After a brief discussion of the Fibonacci spotlight, we turned to all things esports: Surrender joined team Na’Vi Dreamhack

We record live every Sunday evening and release our audio podcast the following Monday! It’s episode 40 which means we are officially over the hill now! But don’t worry, the best is still yet to come. In this week’s episode we talk about the call for shoutcasters that Blizzard has put out, we discuss the meta this week and the changes in it, and we spend quite a bit of time breaking down the Paladin class and the different archetypes you can expect in the current meta – how to not only play Paladin,

Episode 38 takes a meandering path as John and Kevin battle through the newest card backs, patch notes, and the fourth and final wing of the League of Explorers on this week’s show. There’s a laugh or two among the super serial card conversation, so hopefully you guys have as much fun with this one as we did! We also got three great e-mails we had time to answer on the show from friends of Well Met, which was a real treat. As always, you guys should
