Blizzard Debuts Official Hearthstone Video Podcast and Documentary

This morning, the official Hearthstone Esports twitter account announced two new projects: 1) a video podcast called “Talkstone,” hosted by our favorite casters; and 2) a documentary series about competing in HCT called “The Tour.”

Both inaugural episodes will be played today, at noon Pacific time, on the official PlayHearthstone twitch channel.

We have not yet heard if the “podcast” will be broadcast to regular podcast catchers, but we assume both series will at least be available as Twitch VoDs and, most likely, on Youtube. We will update this post if we hear more programming details.

Update: Che Chou, Global Franchise Lead for Hearthstone Esports, confirmed that these and all future episodes of bother series will first be broadcast on Twitch and later be uploaded to the Hearthstone Esports Youtube page. They are not quite up yet at the time of this update, but we expect them to be up within the next day or so. He also confirmed that Talkstone will be added to itunes (for download as an audio-only podcast) “soon” (hopefully no TM).
