The hosts explained, that the expansion was initially called the Treasure expansion. t revolved around Blingtron and was called Blingtron’s Lootapalooza. Kobolds were later chosen as representatiteves in the place of Blingtron in resemblance to classic dungeon crawling. The king of kobolds – Togwaggle – will be the host of this expansion.

To reflect the treasure theme, special cards were developed like the unidentified items, whereof exist three. One was shown, the Priest card Unidentified Potion. Those unidentified cards reveal their nature only when drawn and you need to adapt your playstyle according to the random outcome. Other special cards are Spellstones. Those are the representation of progression. Spellstone cards update over the course of the game from a lesser to a normal and then to a greater Spellstone. The Shaman Spellstone was one of the exhibited which upgrades by overloading a certain amount of crystals throughout the game, increasing the effect of summoning 1,2 or 3 copies of a friendly minion.

Finally there are all the monsters that lurk in the dungeons and some crazy Legendaries of which the Warlock one – Rin, the First Diciple – was shown off. She herself offers a quest that after various summoning ritual cards and 31 mana spent give you a 10-mana 10/10 Demon that as a battlecry destroys your opponent’s deck. See all the mentioned and unmentioned revealed cards in the following gallery.
