Un’Goro Card Spoilers on the Bahamas: All New Cards of March 24th (and 23rd)

by - 7 years ago

Today, another big junk of ten new and exciting cards from the upcoming Journey to Un’Goro set were shown off by Blizzard on their  official Hearthstone Twitch channel at the beginning of day 2 of the HCT Winter in the Bahamas. Dean Ayala and Brian Kibler presented the reveal in the usual lighthearted and funny way we are used to from Kibler. The most outstanding one was . The images of all cards can be found below this paragraph. For an overview of all Un’Goro cards released so far head either to the Un’Goro Power Rankings or to the Un’Goro Spoiler Card List.

Volcanosaur a double Adapt beast is interesting but hard to evaluate until played around with Adapt for some time. It is interesting enough to try though and everybody will be able to get the golden version for free as an Un’Goro login reward.

Gluttonous Ooze might the weapon removal tool to go for in the future, providing armor atop destroying the whole weapon of your opponent. R.I.P. Arcanite Reaper!

Mana Bind is the secret that could make a new Tempo Secret Mage a reality.

Vilespine Slayer. Finally, some usable hard removal in Rogue. There is only a good AE damage card missing and Rogue will be very powerful.

Living Mana. Wow – what a strange effect. This is totally unpredictable. If you have more than seven mana, only 7 Mana Treants will be summoned and only 7 mana will be subtracted.

Mirage Caller is Herald Volajz but just for one minion which helps to get another Deathrattle minion out. Will it work? Not sure but it might because it is only 3-mana.

Corrupting Mist is another huge AoE effect for Warlock with a downside. This card would be totally busted in Mage…

Lost in the Jungle is a worse Living Roots for Paladin with the upside of giving Silver Hand Recruits but Quartermaster is already in wild.

Molten Blade – the Shifter Xerus of weapons. This is more of a fun card but it might be playable in Control Warrior.

The Marsh Queen is the Hunter quest and Tol’vir Warden makes so much more sense with it. The Reward is crazy good. Overwhelming your opponent with a swarm of raptors seems so fitting. Below, you can find the reward, the raptor token and the Mana Treant.

Finally, here are the cards that were already revealed by the community yesterday (March 23rd):

Glacial Shard might be good enough to be played as an early game aggression stopping tool and the elemental tag helps that it might be played in late-game oriented Elemental decks.

Curious Glimmerroot is … interesting. Total new mechanic that is better the more knowledge of the game you have. I love the design, both gameplay-wise as well as art-wise. We still have to see if it is good enough to make the cut which might not be the case.

Tol’vir Warden. A 5-mana 3/5 seems underwhelming at first glance but this one might be a lot better than it seems because Hunter has a dire need of card draw since the Starving Buzzard nerf and it helps to draw in your late-game threats later on. Besides, as we just found out, the Hunter quest requires you to play a lot of 1-drops. Job’s done!
