Un’Goro Card Reveal Stream: The New Cards Are Awesome!

by - 7 years ago

The stream is over and we got some exting stuff that got revealed. We saw the Warlock Quest which is all about Discard. Hunter’s and Rogue’s Legendary minions were shown off and man – great mechanics! The craziest card by far, while likely not competitive, is a new Warrior Epic spell that replaces your ENTIRE deck with “Discover a card” cards!!! Anyway, without further ado, here are the cards:

John “kickedtripod” Horstman made some nice GIFs of Elise, Sherazim, and and KingDred gameplay for you to enjoy:

We learned a few more details about the design of the Un’Goro expansion while Peter Whalen and Day[9] revealed the cards:

  • each class got some flavor attached
    • Shaman/Mage/Priest: Elements
    • Rogue: Plants
    • the remaining 5 classes: dinosaurs, each with differnet flavors; e.g. Druid get Longnecks, Paladins get Stegasaurs
  • the new Elise the Trailblazer shuffles a 2-mana card into oyur deck that lets you open a whole random pack. The packs will add 5 random cards to yur hand. What you get is much better than an average pack with a guaranteed Epic, a mean of one Legendary and a 25% chance of golden cards
  • Galvadon is the last Kaleidasaur (Ankylosaur?)
  • the Seed from Sherazim takes up a spot and is invincible
  • the portal from the Warlock quest is only removable by conceding – no, Twisting Nether leaves it up
  • Sherazim Seed and the Portal from the Warlock quest are permanents
  • 9 Quests + 9 Legendaries per class confirmed
