Worth Reading: Interview on “Designing Hearthstone’s Old Gods” with Mike Donais and Peter Whalen

by - 8 years ago

A few days back, there was an interview published on IGN by Cam Shea where he talked to Mike Donais (senior game designer) and Peter Whalen (game designer) asking them various interesting questions about how the design process of Whispers of the Old Gods happened. A lot of interesting Topics are tackled in this well written article, e.g. that there will be no further cultist for C’Thun in upcoming expansions. Another interesting Topic was the design of N’Zoth, which underwent different iterations until it ended up in ist final form. I highly encourage to give it a read.
