Well Met! Episode 44: Calm Your Boots (feat. Jocelyn Moffett!)
by JR Cook - 8 years ago show comments
WELL MET! Join John, J.R., and Kevin every week and listen in as they discuss strategy, competitive play, card & deck analysis, and more! This podcast is produced to help players up their game in Hearthstone, keep up with the tournament scene, and have some fun along the way. We record live every Sunday evening and release our audio podcast the following Monday!
For our 44th episode, it was our extraordinary privilege to have Jocelyn Moffett (Twitter / Twitch) join us! After several months since we last tried to coordinate with Joce, she was able to come hang out and talk about some cool Hearthstone stuff with us this week, including:
- The latest Designer Insights with Ben Brode on Content Updates. We get into a pretty good back-and-forth about content updates vs. communication from Blizzard!
- Another bot ban wave. Don’t cheat.
- ESPN Esports! ESPN picked up a number of talented esports journalists, and we discuss the implications of this, the ActiBlizz MLG purchase, and more for esports (and Hearthstone!).
- A slow meta week, so we had a brief discussion about tech cards.
Lastly, we’re only $75 away on Patreon from reaching our next milestone – a bonus episode of Well Met every month! Hitting that would be insane, and if you guys want even more Well Met – well, let us know. 🙂
If you enjoy the show, feel free to join us Sundays at 7 p.m. PST when we live stream our show recording over on twitch.tv/blizzpro – made possible in part by generous fans who support our Patreon. We also welcome conversation on our new Well Met subreddit, and have awesome merchandise available in the BlizzPro store.
(Special thanks to Jake Butineau for our awesome music.)
Keep in touch! We answer as many reader emails as we can (wellmet@blizzpro.com), stay active on Twitter (@WellMetPodcast, or individually @eldorian, @kickedtripod, and @lackofrealism), and love getting your iTunes reviews.
