While joining your friends at the local tavern might make for an evening of entertainment; meeting new people can be just as rewarding, although maybe a bit dangerous. New faces pop up in the tavern all the time, countless stories are shared among the patrons, and often enough issues will be resolved right then and there. But have you been paying attention to your surroundings? Let’s put your skills of observation and memory to the test and see if you can identify these strangers!
Welcome to Identity Enigma, the new puzzle where it’s your job to identify three Hearthstone Cards based on little clues. The clues can make reference to the card’s ability, its stats, its voice acting, or their flavor text. Maybe I’ll just reference their Warcraft lore, or perhaps just something that has made them notable in Hearthstone. What about having just a silly play on its name? Everything is possible on Identity Enigma!

These quizes had been pretty fun imo, but what is currently missing is discussion between the community. In that regard i’ll like to post my thoughts.
This weeks riddles refer to ”vanilla” minions, in other words minions without text/skills… Going by that concept the first one would propably be the puddlestomper, stepping on the puddles of drinks spilt.
For the 2nd and 3rd my thoughts (yeti and b. ogre) just doesn’t add up with the description…. Any thoughts?

My guess for the second one is our longtime perfect vanilla minion, the chillwind yeti! Because he is Baine Bloodhoof but with blue paws.
Maybe the last one could be War Golem, the vanilla 7/7 outclassed by Dr. OP… or, of course, Mountain Giant. Neither are green. both have rocky hands. But of course only War Golem is a vanilla card. 😉
I think the discussion is missing until someone has a good guess for all 3, since otherwise the next newcomer can “steal” credit for guessing all… Thank you for changing that.
Well, about yeti he has the same stats as cairne/baine, is blue and a ”cool dude”, vanilla indeed, but something is missing there… the ”that will be cold” sounds somewhat off. there seems to be a hint we are not getting…
About the 3rd riddle, mountain giant is not a vanilla minion, or the contrary he depends on the ability to be played. the rock-heavy hands could relate to war golem, but the appearance is more similar to Boulderfist Ogre. Also golems are not ”mean” since they are used to protect something/someone, unless that refers to the ”badlands” where they can be found.
Let’s transend this game to the next level 😉
Chillwind is correct, “that will be cold” should refer to the “Chill” part of his name. And like said before has the same body as Baine and is blue.
Boulderfist is also correct I think, “boulderfist” = “rock-heavy hands” and he kinda looks like Hulk but is red instead.
That was a lovely team effort guys. You got all of the references on the first two, but there’s still things that could make your third guess more clear.
