We’re 3 days away from PAX East and the teasing continues from the Hearthstone team. Today on their social media they presented this little picture of a plush hogger holding a plush Hearthstone with the caption “Adventure Awaits!”

Along with the picture they included the text “It’s Dangerous to Go Alone!”

This could be just a funny picture and nothing more, however, it’s likely to be a teaser of what’s coming. “Adventure Awaits!” is a pretty obvious tease toward the blackrock mountain adventure mode. “It’s Dangerous to Go Alone” could potentially be a tease toward co-op mode coming in the game. While co-op mode is a highly requested feature that even team 5 has said they are interested in, I think it’s a bit of a stretch to go there, so I wouldn’t get your hopes up about that one.

EDIT: Looks like I was correct, co-op mode is definitely not in the plans:

It’s Dangerous to Go Alone could also refer to a  now obsolete WoW quest chain which helped lead players toward Blackrock Mountain. More than likely it’s just a silly Legend of Zelda reference where the old guy gives Link his first sword “It’s dangerous to go alone, take this!” (referring to the Hearthstone plush). Either way, this hype train is going at full speed ahead!
