Briefly today on the Battle.net support site, some visitors noticed that the Android system requirements had been posted. It appears they have been removed now but both Reddit and Hearthpwn are reporting on what was there.

Now, I’m going to say this probably isn’t a final list and it might not even be an accurate list but here’s what is being reported on those 2 sites:

• Screen: 6-Inch or larger
• OS: Android 4.0 or later
• Memory: 1GB

• Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014)

Note: The Asus Transformer Pad TF300T is incompatible with Hearthstone. Devices with PowerVR540/544 GPUs may experience graphical issues. Updating your device to the latest version of your operating system may address these issues. Android 5.0 (Lollipop) and Fire OS 4.5.1 are recommended.

The interesting news here is the fact that the Samsung Galaxy 6.3 is included and it’s technically a phone and not a tablet. However, it would appear that Blizzard has made a conscience decision to limit Hearthstone to no smaller than 6-inch screen and more than likely the phone version that is being promised to come out in 2015 will have slightly altered UI to handle the smaller than 6-inch screen size.

Of other note, owners of the Kindle Fire’s should be extremely happy with this news. I know I was personally surprised they would be supported. Definitely a cheap option to play Hearthstone on the go.

With that said, please don’t rush out and buy these devices until there is confirmation from Blizzard that this is exactly what they will support.
