Weekly Spotlight: Undertaker

With hundreds of minions, spells and weapons to choose from, where do you start? You can start right here: every Thursday, we will feature one card in our Weekly Spotlight and share with you how to use it in your constructed deck.
Undertaker (1M/1D/2H) Whenever you summon a minion with Deathrattle, gain +1/+1. “In a world where you can run to a spirit healer and resurrect yourself, Undertakers do pretty light business.“)
The Undertaker is like the younger sibling of the Questing Adventurer, except that this minions only reacts to minions with Deathrattle.
An argument can be made that he is an incredibly potent card that either must be dealt with early, or could be player later with a slew of other minions for maximum effect. There’s a fairly good selection of under 2 Mana minions to choose from that all incorporate the Deathrattle effect. Any of them would pair beautifully with the Undertaker: Webspinner, Haunted Creeper, Leper Gnome, Loot Hoarder, Zombie Chow, Mad Scientist, Unstable Ghoul, Nerubian Egg, Bloodmage Thalnos.
Just one additional card played makes this minion a +2/+3 creature, which is freakishly good. For essentially two mana, you could have one +2/+3 and another creature on the board. It only gets better with each additional Deathrattle minion played.
Play an Unstable Ghoul alongside of the Undertaker, and you get the buff plus some protection. As a potential turn 2 play with the Coin, this can be a frightening combination to face.
Give the Undertaker a chance, because life’s too short to play Hearthstone without an awesome deck.
