The latest beta release for Warlords of Draenor features a number of additions to garrisons that bring some Hearthstone flavor to the game. A new vendor NPC named Benjamin Brode can now be founding roaming around your garrison. For Horde players, Benjamin Brode opted to wear a Halloween Orc mask to blend in. Smooth.

Benjamin is ready to share some fabulous and rather affordable goods with you:

• Pack of Cards: For 10 gold, you can buy a card pack that will announce you opening the pack with a puff of arcane dust. The pack has a 1 minute cooldown, but does not appear to have a limit to the number of uses. Fine print and disclaimer: opening the pack in your garrison will not add new cards to your actual collection in Hearthstone.
• Winning Hand: For 100 gold, you can announce that you have just won a game of Hearthstone, and trigger a magnificent fireworks display. The item has a 2 minute cooldown, and also appears to have unlimited uses.
• Hearthstone board: For 1000 gold, you can drop a Hearthstone game board, emoting a challenge to other players. See header image above. Additional fine print and disclaimer: this is just a visual effect and (as much fun as this would be) does not open an instanced version of the actual Hearthstone game within the WoW client.

Kudos to Blizzard for having some fun with this cross-over between the two games. I am waiting for the day that raid bosses or perhaps even random NPC mobs will offer a minute chance for a Hearthstone card pack drop that will actually transfer over as a usable card pack in Hearthstone.

Time will tell.
