I am please to report that during the wee hours this morning, I vanquished Heroic Kel’Thuzad and unlocked my shiny new card back! It was a long and hard fought battle after nearly 2 weeks of banging my head against Grobbulus but I was determined to defeat him before I moved on in progression. Late last night I finally caved and netdecked a priest deck that was surprisingly similar to the one that I was already using, and a dozen attempts later, I was finally working on Gluth. Having already caved on my personal “No Netdecking” policy, I decided to use some of the deck lists I’ve been sent recently by well meaning individuals and thankfully they made the rest of the fights surprisingly easy. All in all, I found The Curse of Naxxramas to be an extremely enjoyable delivery method for the new cards that have been shaking up the meta, and the Heroic version did a great job of forcing me to look at deck building from a new perspective. 10/10, would play again. Even if Grobbulus did slow roll me with the BM every time he had lethal…
