Hearthstone Streamer Highlights: Kripparrian

by - 10 years ago

The next streamer highlight from Blizzard actually came in rather quick succession to Trump’s earlier this week. This new one features second place finisher at the inaugural Innkeeper’s Invitational back at BlizzCon 2013, Kripparrian. A standard name on Twitch, Kripp is known for playing games (especially Blizzard games) at a high level and analyzing some of the deeper theory on how to become the best at them. He took a liking to Hearthstone from early on in the Closed Beta and is now arguably one of the best Arena players period. Read on below for the official highlight:

Watching experienced players sling cards in live streams is a great way to learn new tricks, build better decks, and improve your Hearthstone skills to win more games. That might be the reason why streaming has become such a popular pastime for both streamers and viewers alike.

We want to make it easy to find the people who are out there streaming entertaining and informative Hearthstone games. Among these luminaries you’ll find pro players and skilled amateurs who all share a common goal—to entertain viewers by sharing their knowledge of the game sprinkled with a few laughs along the way.

Today’s featured streamer is Kripparrian!

Kripparrian (or Kripp as he’s often known) was once a well-known and accomplished World of Warcraft and Diablo III player, but has since traded in his sword and shield for a deck of cards. While playing Hearthstone, Kripparrian has dueled competitively, and also done some shoutcasting here and there. Perhaps most importantly, Kripp has become an extremely influential streamer and member of the Hearthstone community. He’s known for his skillful Arena play, deep well of knowledge about Hearthstone, and dry sense of humor.

To help everyone get acquainted, we asked Kripp a few questions:

Q: Tell us a little about your stream?
A: I’ve been creating gaming related YouTube videos for almost 5 years now. Starting with Diablo III’s launch in early May 2012, I have streamed an average of 10 hours each day since. Being the best and learning games as a science is my specialty, but having fun is my only goal. Visit my stream and spam dongers while I play Hearthstone and other games each day.

Q: What’s your favorite Battlecry?
A: Aldor Peacekeeper: Follow the Rules

Q: How did you get into Hearthstone?
A: Tried it on a whim the first day the beta was launched, and I’ve been playing ever since.

Q: Do you have any advice for new Hearthstone players?
A: Keep playing and try to understand why you win or lose each game.

When to Watch
Tune in to watch Kripp play on Twitch.tv daily 12:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m EST/EDT.

When he’s not streaming, you can find Kripparrian’s video series on YouTube. Don’t forget to follow him on Twitter and Facebook for updates on his latest guides and videos.
