Recognizing community members in World of Warcraft either through items or named NPCs has been a very touching and – dare I say it – cool decision by Blizzard.

Given the obvious overlap between Hearthstone and Warcraft, we’ve wondered in the past what cross-over opportunities might be considered. First. there was the Hearthsteed. Now it looks like the implementation of garrisons in Warlords of Draenor could include at least one mission with Hearthstone flavor.

The mission calls for a “master tactician” to tackle the Annoying Zoo Lock, Frustrating Miracle Rogue, or Overpowered Control Warrior.

The  mission reward pictured below is a nod to Trump and Reckful. The “Autographed Hearthstone Card” though is just a flavor item, and does not offer any benefits or rewards for players when they switch back to Hearthstone. No word yet if other prominent Hearthstone players or community members will be recognized in a similar fashion.

All of this is part of the current Warlords of Draenor beta release and might change before the official release of the new expansion.
