Second Wing of Naxx to Hit Wednesday, Not Tuesday

Don’t panic everyone! Now is NOT the time to light your hair on fire and uninstall Hearthstone! I know what you’re saying, “But TWIIIIZZZZ…..they said they’d unlock a wing every week!” They are, but it’s not at the time you’d expect.
Senior Hearthstone Game Designer Ben Brode tweeted a day or so ago that the next wing of Naxx would be released at midnight on Wednesday, July 30th. Usually, when Blizzard gives a time, it’s in Pacific. So midnight (referring to his tweet) is 2:00 a.m. CDT, 3:00 a.m. EDT. I wish I had time to put all the time zones down for those of you in the EU, but hopefully you have enough information to cross it into your particular time zone.
As the last wing was released during Tuesday, we all figured that that would be the normal schedule. Well, we’re just here to give you a heads up that if you’re waiting around on Tuesday to hop in and take on the next wing….you’ll likely be waiting a while. Will this be the normal release schedule? Are they doing this because of server maintenance? We don’t know, but stay tuned and we’ll keep you posted!

As we’ve announced in the past, the Hearthstone Power Hour will do a show every night of a Naxx wing release. This means that the Power Hour will be moved to Wednesday night for this week and you can plan accordingly with the rest of the releases. We certainly hope to see you there!
