Fireside Chat: Do You Follow the Tournament Scene?

by - 10 years ago

As Hearthstone continues to gain popularity as an eSport, we’re starting to see the same names popping up more and more within the community. It’s been nearly impossible to read Reddit the last few months without seeing names like Amaz, Noxious, or Trump in a post title. Some of these players are known for their educational or entertaining streams, others for their YouTube highlights. Then, there are the players that are gaining a reputation in the tournament scene. I’m sure that after the recent, drama-filled events at Dreamhack Summer and later on Twitch and Twitter, names like Reynad and RDU now also come to mind.

I knew of both RDU and Reynad prior to the Dreamhack controversy because I’ve been following the streams and tournaments since Beta, but I got to wondering, how many of you are following the tournament scene? Do you make it a point to watch your favorite player go head to head during a PvP Live Tavern Takeover? Couldn’t care less about who wins what tournament, just show me what deck to use to climb to Legend?

Let us know your thoughts on the Hearthstone Tournament Scene in the comments below or on Twitter – @BlizzPro or @HearthProShow.
