HearthPro Episode 35: Interview with Reynad

by - 10 years ago

Apparently, this week came with endless home improvement projects, work, and kid DPS. The crew is taking a week off, and in place of our regular show we are re-playing Stephen’s interview with Reynad in its entirety. The interview was previously featured only on the BlizzPro.com website. If you haven’t had a chance to listen to it there, Reynad offers his perspective on the competitive scene and why he started Tempo Storm, his professional team of Hearthstone players.

  1. Great job by Stephen here! Pushed through what sounded like some sketchy audio. Thoroughly enjoyable interview.

Yeah, I talked to Reynad after we released this and he apologized profusely. It turns out that Skype defaulted to his webcam mic rather than his really nice standalone one. It’s a bummer since it was a great interview, but a lesson learned for the future. Glad we were able to get some good info though. 🙂

Stephen did great! And you’re right, interviews over Skype can be totally sketchy. We actually run our podcast over Skype, but all three of us record our own segments separately. Then I merge them in post production – that helps with the sound quality. #TrueStory #BackstagePass
