Tournament Watch: TakeTV Hearthstone Invitational

As I predicted previously, the March that we saw from the tournament scene could only provide for bigger and better opportunities in April. Well, it is indeed shaping up to be one heck of a month if you’re a competitive Hearthstone player, as we now have yet another entry to get excited about.

The folks at TakeTV – the same people that brought you Seatstory Cup #1 – are at it again with a new tournament set to take place this weekend from April 18th through to April 20th. This will be an eight player bracket with a prize purse of $3,000 at stake. Only six of those players were determined via invitations; the remaining two players qualified via an open bracket competition held a couple of Fridays ago.

The Round of Eight is set to take place this Friday, April 18th. Further details regarding the players, the rules of the tournament, and all of the information you need to watch the actual thing are located here.
