Matches in Hearthstone can turn on a dime. Sometimes, it’s one bad decision, other times it’s that fourth legendary you just don’t have an answer for. And then there is Leeroy Jenkins.

Usually, when this minion comes out, your opponent has done some quick math and knows he can finish you off with one swift strike, or at least leave you hurting and gasping for answers.

Enter our friend Shoctologist. He knows what he’s doing. He’s got Leeroy. He’s got Rockbiter Weapon. He is happy (I mean, just look at him, smiling from here to victory!). This is – as we say in sports speak – a “layup”.

Then, in the span of eight short seconds, things go wrong. Horribly wrong.
