Tomorrow’s Patch Introduces Card Backs, The Hearthsteed and More

Along with aforementioned changes to Nat Pagle, Tinkmaster Overspark and Ranked Play Mode, tomorrow’s patch will also bring with it the long rumored Hearthsteed, a Hearthstone mount for World of Warcraft players. HearthPwn posted datamined information on that and other quest rewards going live tomorrow:

The golden hero portraits are no surprise, having been alluded to last week. They will absolutely require a bunch of time to grind out and we advise pacing yourself. Those pre-ordering Diablo III’s expansion Reaper of Souls will receive either one or two card packs, depending on which copy they pick up.
The datamined information also explains in more detail just what players will have to do in order to obtain unique card backs. Most of the requirements seem fairly straightforward:

It’s unclear as to whether or not tomorrow’s patch will officially herald the retail release of Hearthstone, but regardless there will definitely be a lot of goodies for us to get into.
I felt extremely guilty shelling (I’m such a sucker) out for the Reaper of Souls collectors edition, so the card packs is actually kind of a nice surprise.
Yah, it’s not a huge bonus, but it’s a cool cherry on top.
