BlizzCon: Where to Find BlizzPro

by - 10 years ago

Will you be attending BlizzCon? If so, we hope to see you there!

BlizzPro has a lot of folks going this year and you might be interested in meeting some of us and we’re definitely interested in meeting you! There’s a couple events we plan on formally being at as well as our own Meetup at the meeting stone. Here’s a list of our plans!

WoW Insider/WoWhead Party

Some of us plan on being at the WoW Insider/WoWhead Party at the Anabella hotel at 5 PM Thursday. More than likely we’ll only be there for an hour or 2 as we have other arrangements going on later in the evening. Either way though, this party is a definite staple of BlizzCon and worth attending. It’s literally a Who’s Who in the Blizzard community and there will be lots of Blizzard folks there as well.

World of Podcasts

World of Podcasts begins at 8 PM Thursday night and will be at the Red Lion Hotel. It looks like they have 6 panels scheduled for the 3 hour event and the members of our official podcast, TwizzCast, will be on them. Twizz will be handling the Hearthstone panel, Hota will be on the Warcraft general panel, Reb will be on the Warcraft lore panel, and Archon will be on the Diablo panel. If you want to meet any of those 4 definitely show up to this event. In addition several of the BlizzPro staff members plan on being there for at least some of the event to show their support.

BlizzPro/TwizzCast Meetup at the Meeting Stone

At 2 PM Saturday is the best chance you have to meet us all. We’re having our own little meetup at the meeting stone inside of the convention center. We’re also sharing the time with Rho from Realm Maintenance Podcast. I think most of our staff attending, if not all, plan on being there for this. We will also be joined by our TwizzCast chat room bouncer and Twitter personality @AngryOrc1 as well as the ever awesome and good friend @ShaOfHappiness. So if you ever wanted to slap me around while I wear my horse mask as demonstrated in this video or stroke Hota’s beard, this is the time and place to do that.

Who to Follow

So, here is a list of the BlizzPro staff that is attending BlizzCon and more than likely will be tweeting at the event. Using Twitter during BlizzCon is a great way to get up to date information on what’s going on at the event itself as well as getting several different perspectives and even pictures.

They won’t be at the show but you should follow these people as well as they will be tweeting as things happen and helping keep the site updated on the happenings.
